Michael Jordan wore Nike Air Jordan VII when he and the Dream Team showcased their talent before the audience during the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona where Michael led the “Dream Team” to a gold medal. He also wore the shoe in a marketing campaign where he appeared alongside Bugs Bunny who was featured on a poster with Jordan inspiring the “Hare Jordan” nickname.
It comes in a wide range of sole designs and color-ways that have made it popular among the fans with the “Charcoal” color-way being the most popular one. The designer Tinker Hatfield borrowed the design concept of this shoe from some art from West Africa and Afro-pop. These two concepts blended to give the shoe its perfect final look.
